For Donna - Here's your Monster White

This is the Monster White brug Donna B sent me last fall as a cutting. I was absolutely AMAZED at how many buds are on her - I tried to count and got 47 the first count and 43 the second. The plant is only about 4ft tall including the 5 gallon pot she is in. LOL If you look carefully you can see all the buds. Gonna be somethin to see when they all open! I believe this is white suaveolens actually that Donna dubbed "Monster White" for it's size. Or was that for the number of blooms she throws in a flush????

dubbed her Monster because of the huge flushes and the size she grows to so rapidly. Yes she is a suavelones. One I will never get rid of. Diane you will be in heaven with the scent when the blooms all open. She will perfume your whole yard

It will definitely be a sight to behold when all those white blooms open and Donna says it has fragrance and perfumes the whole yard . . . wow. Diane you have done a wonderful job growing the cutting to a lovely plant.

Diane - you can plainly see the plant has outgrown it's pot and is not happy there. Just leave the gate open and I'll be over and get rid of it for you tomorrow.

Hey! I think I may have just figured out how you're getting so big with no dirt over there Carol. You're not using Bud. I'll bet you're stocked with Mt. Rainier or Olympia (in a bottle). That seemed to be the barleyhops of choice in Oahu anyway. :)

Ok, Now this just isn't right LOL. I got cuttings too. And Mine is a tree I tell ya , A tree. LOL How do you make it short and so full like that. I'd give anything to have everyone of my brugs short and full like that. Instead of being a tree. Any ideas?

It's quite a lovely brug. I haven't been watching mine too closely, need to go check to see what kind of blooms are on it now. But not near as many as you have on yours. How often do you fertilize ?
