This is that same bird I put in Big Red only in a dusk light shooting down instead of up. The light changes the colors on hummers in conjuction with it's angle.

These are so beautiful!! I wish we had more of them visiting here. I have scads of their favorite plants but they just pass through on their way to the North in the spring and again as they return South in the Fall. How in the world do you get such magnificent close ups of them?? I have a picture or two but you can barely see mine. Your pics are wonderfully close and absolutely gorgeous. What sort of camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
