Thanks Ginny, but I really can't take the credit. Someone else thought of it and mentioned it in a thread. I liked the idea so dried them for a few weeks and Wa La!

Donna, it might certainly be a laugh alright! :D

They look wonderful Donna.

Donna it's not a laugh at all. It's a neat idea. If I didn't know what colors they were supposed to be, I would be wanting seeds....lol.

Thank you ladies. Yes, Wilma, I used craft spray paints. It was so easy and quick. I agree Donna, it would be nice to be able to get bright colors in Allium, wouldn't it? What I like best, is that they'll last a long time. (I hope)

What fun. Will they grow that big in Ontario? Might be fun to try.

Oh, I'm sure the do Ann. As a matter of fact, it was cybercrone from Ontario that told us about her Allium caeruleum (Blue Ornamental Onion). After I found out about the blue ones, I had to have one, since I had only the purple Christophii, Schubertii and Purple Sensation. I ended up with several in a trade I did. Matter of fact I still have some if anyone wants to trade something for them. :Donna

Hi Donna,

I would love to try some, what are you looking for in a trade.
Thanks Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. DH and I have been away on a little camping trip.

Ok course I will send you some of the extra bulbs of Allium caeruleum. And after the lovely Trillium you sent me this spring, I would love to be able to reciprocate. I will put some in the mail this week.
:Donna
