No blooms...

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

I have three hibiscus that I over wintered from last year. I put them in pots and kept them inside until probably the middle of April. One even bloomed inside! So, I sat them back out in the flower bed where they were last year. They bloomed wonderfully last year, at least one or two blooms every day. I left the biggest one in the pot and sat it alonside the flowerbed. The problem is they don't seem to be growing at all, the lower leaves are turning yellow and falling off and they haven't bloomed YET. I have never had a problem with hibiscus in this location. I usually buy new ones every year, I have never tried to keep one over the winter. Is that the problem? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture of one of the blooms from last year.

Good Morning, your pic's are really pretty. So they wont bloom this year? What are you feeding them and how often? What I have been feeding mine is a Hibiscus Food...18-10-28. Now the one I use is made down here in Houston for the Space City Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society. I dont have a clue if its availabe anywhere else except southeast Texas...(but I guess I could find out), but I know that there are other good Hibiscus Foods out there. They like that High Potash level so stay away from. Super Bloom, Bloom Booster, Triple Super Phosphate, etc...they are NOT going to work on Hibiscus. Now accoring to the instructions..they recommend 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and soaking the root area every week...they also say for best results mix 1 tablespoon of epson salts in the water with the plant food. Water as needed between feeding...(In the winter cut the amounts in 1/2) Now I know that a lot of people will have a problem with the epsom salts, but I have been using it and have not had any burn...

Hooray! I have one bloom finally today. Here it is. Kind of puny compared to the past blooms. The other one now has one bud, but the one in the big pot has nothing. :-(
I will try the fertilizer. It has been sooooooo hot, I hate to stress them anymore.

Tried and tried to find the 18-10-18. I ended up with a 30-6-10 I think. Haven't had time to see if it works. However, I had two new blooms on the other plant. Had been watching, babying, etc. and what happens?......finally opens and DH puts the sprinkler on it and it closed right up and didn't open again. I did catch a quick shot of it. Very pretty but short lived.
