I got a few cuttings going now, and my one 'Trapeez' (sp) put out a little flower bud. I was so jazzed until I read in one of the posts that I should cut it off or the cutting would die. Soooo, sadly I cut it off this morning so the little cutting would be OK. Good thing I am reading these forums, huh? :-) Is this a very common thing to get flowers forming on cuttings?

Somewhere recently on this forum we discussed this. I never cut off buds on cuttings. I think the theory is that the buds take energy from a young cutting, but I've never found it to be an issue to leave the buds on.
Instant gratification is a good thing!
Well, since that was the one & only cutting I had of that one, I surely didn't want it to bite the dust trying to make a flower. Ha. If I get another one, I will leave it to see what happens.
