have you seen this colourful beauty here?

The petals have an unusual curl but oh the COLOUR!!! Ü
Daylily lovers
Very nice colour blending on that one. Course very nice photography too.
I saw a pic that Badseed took of this plant at a Daylily farm and her pic looked the same. Sometimes when I see pics at a sellers site I often think they've done quite a bit of touching up.
I love it's colouring.
Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it was touched up. Just good picture.
It's me Brenda (not you)............. I'm always suspicious of colours at a website.
I think what makes it unique is the gradual blending from yellow fading and then into red. Can't say I care for the flower shape though.
That's lovely Pam. I like the red and yellow combination, on a flower anyway. lol

Wow, that's got amazing colours! I have one daylily a "Little Wine Cup", that I planted this spring, and its done nothing so far. Can I expect it to just look miserable this year, like most perennials, and then come back next year to make me happier? I've never had a day lily before so don't know what to expect. Thanks.
If it was really young you prolly won't get anything. I've picked up about 4 this year and two have bloomed.....the others might bloom (yours and the ones that haven't bloomed yet for me may be late season bloomers too).
Every one of the daylilies I planted this spring have blossomed, so don't give up hope yet, Christine.
That's a nice one Pam. We have fairly plain ones blooming right now but they're very pretty.
I really do like it's colour Sandy...... it would need the right spot in the garden. I do find the curve of the petals strange but I think I could live with it. ;)
