Hi Sue!

I'm thinking about buying some phygelius for the first time...

How well does it hold up to heat? Do you think they'd do well for me, here in TX?
thanks

Hmmm, not sure, I haven't had it for a couple of years now but it was in full sun most of the day, some late afternoon shade. I only removed it because it got too big but I really like it and may get some again.

Thank you! Maybe I should try one facing east morning sun, and shade after noon...

We can't grow any fuchsias here, so hoping I might get by with this one, as sort of a substitute...

Hope all is well with you!

It comes in different colors too, if I can find them, I want to try another one. http://www.cottage-gardens.net/ShowDetails.asp?id=246

Hi. After seeing this growing with hydrangeas I have hope for it here in North Florida. I'll give it a try. Any thoughts?

The hydrangea was in a pot so that was just a photo op. ^_^ I don't see why it wouldn't work for you.

Vasweet123-
just a note...mine are holding up well here in Texas heat of 100+ degrees, in part sun.
