Any Country Music Fans Here?

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

DD and her friends are at the Craven Country Jamboree this week. A little late DH and I saw the feature lineup and wished we had bought tickets as well : http://www.cravencountryjamboree.com/
(scroll down a bit).

The girls started it off with a bang......they were sideswiped just prior to leaving town. Girls are fine but the car they were in will be needing lots of repair.

Verona, ON

Everybody okay though? Cars can be fixed people cannot. Hope they have a blast!

Dianne everyone walked away without a scratch! Ü The driver of the car DD was in was going up the hill... she saw the other driver wasn't going to stop at the stop sign so she hit her brakes. She got clipped on the front side of her car....bumper, hood and front side panel will have to be replaced. Going up the hill also helped brake the car. The driver that hit them was 16 and she was pretty shaken up. Her car's frame shifted so it might be totalled

Of the singers so far DD phoned to say she really enjoyed Paul Brandt's singing (naturally).....an Alberta boy. Tomorrow is George Canyon and I'm sure her heart will be a fluttering then. ;)

I heard Paul Bradt used to be a nurse before he was famous singing.

Sorry to hear about DD, hope she isn't too shaken and can still enjoy the weekend.

Didn't know that about Brandt.....DH was raised with lots of country so he might have heard it too.

Linda she's fine now but was teary eyed at the time ..... she came this morning to crash in bed (one of the girls had to work) and they returned there this afternoon.

Yes, Paul was Calgary Boy and a nurse and apparently wrote his first song for a little girl with a terminal illness that he had cared for . Was supposedly pretty good at his job before he broke onto the country music scene.
