Potted my plumies 5/1 and still don't have any growth. One of them has no roots at all, the other has some resistance if I tug on it, so I gave it the tiniest bit of water.
Should I re-cut the rootless one and try again?

Still no leaves...
Are the cuttings still firm? If so I would hold off a bit....but if it looks like any are starting to rot....then you may want to pull them, cut off the rotten parts and start over.
Yes, thank goodness, they are still firm. We're starting to get some real heat now, so perhaps that will move things along.
Kathleen, some plumerias root quickly, and quickly means 90 days, but others can take much longer. If they are firm, then all is well and do not disturb them. The heat should help to speed things along. I have about 10-15 that I started rooting this spring and which have no roots or leaves yet. As long as they are firm and not discolored or wrinkled, I am not worried about them. Some of them are just starting to get the first appearance of roots. I wouldn't tug on them either because plumeria roots are so fragile that they could break.
Thanks, Clare, I will be patient. Actually, I thought I was being patient, but I guess like a child wanting its candy, I need to be reminded!

It is a lot like watching and waiting for water to boil. Some are just so slow. And then you get a new cutting, and it roots so fast and gets leaves in no time at all, and the others are just doing nothing. It's hard; I know. Once they are rooted, you will probably worry about them less.
