I don't know the name of the passi, I also have a red one that doesn;t bloom often,
lots of cats on these vines.

That's pretty... I didn't know butterflies liked passion flowers.... I just got a hardy one, because I thought they were neat. Maybe its just the southern butterflies? I hope not, it would be cool to have bought a plant that just happened to fit into my butterfly/hummingbird garden... :)

this is a host plant for the gulf fritallery butterfly. they are there constantly laying eggs and I have all sizes of caterpillars. Sure they will find your passi soon. good luck

What PP forgot to say was that they will find your vine, and they are going to eat it! lol Sorry, that's just what they do, but it's really a good thing!

I have heard how the cats devour a whole vine, but mine has lots of leaves and I barely miss any. The vine grows very fast. Mine doesn't bloom heavy, because I don't remember to fertlize. I like to plant and forget it, although I am frequently out there helping the little feelers to find a good place to catch on to. (They do well on there own also).

lol Glad I ordered that hardy plant for the cats to eat! That's ok. That's what my garden is there for. If it happens, I'll just take pics, and order another plant. :)
