MOST packs of seeds contain more than 20 seeds per pack. Some contain 100 or 1000. A few special seeds contain only 5 or 10 seeds, and I tried to note those. But many packs contain enough for you to grow yourself as well as extras to trade for somethign else you want.

I'd like to trade several packs of seeds for a live plant (no seeds please). I prefer named daylilies, hostas, irises, ferns, interesting bulbs, sedums, ferns, interesting succulents, peonies, and other perennials. I dont' expect a full size mature plant for the seeds. One small fan or eye of something would be great.

Small daylilies, irises and bulbs can be shipped in a bubble mailer if they are first wrapped in dry newspaper to prevent them from rotting against the plastic in the bubble mailer. Other plants need to be shipped in boxes to prevent root damage.

I ship all my seeds in bubble mailers.

I will also trade for homemade goats milk and glycerine soaps. I love them!

If you are interested in trading, please let me know. These seeds must go. I need the instant gratification of a plant instead of waiting on lots of seeds to germinate.

Thanks for looking!

coleus -rainbow mix

hollyhocks

I am just getting into this, but I was lucky enough to get three great daylily clumps from David Kirchoff & Mort Morss, the hybridizers, this year. I can send a fan of Christopher Mead, Shaman's magic or imperial dragon. I'll attach photos of the bottom two.

Thanks for the hint about the newspaper. I haven't mailed before. If fresh cuttings would make it OK (in tubes?) I can send cuttings from strobilanthus, which is a gorgeous purple & green shade plant or solar eclipse coleus. It's great too.

Hello Nancy, saw you lurking around over here and thought I'd give you a shout! HELLOOOOOOOO!

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Hi Tanarae! I'm glad to see you made it home from CA safe and sound. Rest up over the weekend, girlfriend. I need to send you a big box of plants. They're begging to be sent to TX. So it looks like you get to be the proud mama of a lasiocarpa banana, some dragon's blood sedum, some daylilies, and I'll have to find my list and see what else needs to be shipped outta here. Got any special requests?

N.

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

Hi NancyAnn,
Did you decide yes or no to the items I listed? I have been out of commission for several days with my MS, but I am trying to get caught up with my trades. Please let me know. Thanks,
JanetS

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Janet, I'm looking primarily for daylilies and hostas--named ones only. Not from box stores like Walmart or Lowes since most often they're inaccurately named. I have about 250 named daylilies and about 100 named hostas, so I'm looking for something I don't already have. Which ones do you have?

NancyAnn

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

I will try to get out and check the tags on the hosta tomorrow. Most likely I do not have daylilies you don't grow already. Probably not hostas either, but I will check anyway. I have several daylilies that are marked and will check those, and lots without names, that have been given or traded with friends. I really haven't been one to watch names until I started visiting this site. I just love flowers and meet a lot of people that do and we trade some here and there. I have a friend that has inherited a daylily propagators supply and if you have one you really are looking for I would be happy to see if he has it. He has given me many over the past year although I didn't require the names, just told him what I like. But it would be worth a try to see if he has one you are interested in...I will get back to you tomorrow...if it isn't raining again...and let you know the names of the hosta I have...like I said, they are probably pretty common ones, I don't know much about the hosta family yet..deer always eat them and I just started some new ones last year. LMK about the daylily you may be looking for and I will see wht I can do...
JanetS

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Well, Clothed in Glory is a daylily that comes to mind. But then it's one most people would like to add to their gardens. I also like Admirals Braid. But I really don't know what I'm looking for until someone mentions it and I look it up. You know there are about 50,000 registered daylilies, and I only have 250 of them. I got a long way to go to get them all. LOL

N.

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

I see what you mean! I will check with my friend...after all, you never know till you ask. Let you know what I find out.
JanetS

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I have some Hyacinth Bean (Dolichos Lablab) seeds that I'll be glad to share/trade . .An interesting aside: Thomas Jefferson mentions this plant in one of his books! Let me know if you are interested. . .I would like some red Standing Cypress seeds
