This leaf on the left has decided to try a little different form.
Any ideas on the cause?
It looks like a cross between a spathe and a leaf.

It kinda looks like a leaf but a flower two but it kinda made me think that it had a leaf roller in it....

A spathe did come up from that stalk.

that is too bizarre! looks like half and half! LOL
I'm off to see if I can find the cause and get some better shots.

i agree it looks like a canna leaf with a leaf roller in it.
No leaf roller.
No anything.
It just looks like the female portion of a spathe decided at the last minute to turn into a deformed leaf.
The coloration is the normal spathe blue/gray on the bottom and regular green up top.
A complete spathe did form next.
I guess I'll watch it for a bit then dissect it to see what's up.
