I've had some newly emerged Red Admirals lately and their colors are so beautiful when they are new and bright. Didn't have the camera out with me tho.

Here is a picture of a Gulf Frillitary flying around, hard to take pictures, but she was laying eggs on my passiflora,which is terrific!!!! Love that picture of the Red Admiral, aren't they wonderful, they love sedums, so I planted alot this year for fall, hope they come!!!

Thanks for the I. D. on the red admiral. I have never heard of it or seen one before. It was nectaring on a Salvia,( rhea). I never paid much attention to them until last year.
