Hip hip hurray!!

Did your markers get there? I didn't think before I mailed them but after you said you were trying to save plants I decided not to mail you any more. LOL Is the coast clear yet?

Foley, AL

=)
I have had power but not DSL... so that sucked.
I don't know? I will have to check the mail...

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

thought I was going to have to call you up and give you a spanking for not checking in. Bell South will give you a dial up connection free for when DSL is down. I had to use it for a few days after Ivan last year. Very slow but better than no puter at all

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Glad to see you posting we was fixing to send out the dogs looking for you. :)

Foley, AL

Spanking hummm.... will have to think about that next time =) I didn't think about dial up... LOL mystic..... I might could use the dogs to help pull my plants up out of the brush....LOL I put almost about all of them in the weeds and native bushes and they are a lot more harder to get out.....LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

so are you coming to see me??? I am still half crippled and starved for company

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Hey ely... glad to see you made it through Dennis the Menace without damage. Looking forward to your visit.. I'll e=mail you directions and phone number when you are ready to head over to 'de swamp'

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh shoot, I wish I could go visit with Trish and Donna too! 2 of my most favorite people. You are so lucky!

I am glad you survived, Ely. I do not know how you guys deal with all the drama every year. Too much for me.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Kell, That is funny-to much drama every year. When I think of CA I think- earthquakes, mudslides, and firestorms. You need to move to MS to get some rest from drama. LOL

ELY-glad you are ok. Did you have a lot of damage?

Susie, hope the storm misses you. Stay safe.

Hiouchi, CA(Zone 8b)

Barbara
remember this state is over a 1000 miles long
all those earthquakes & mudslides & fires happen some where else :-)

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

glad to see you are okay ely. You should have made it down to N.O. this weekend, they had their big tropical sale at the N.O. Botanical Gardens.

Yup, I missed it.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Lisa, I missed it to. One year I am going to make it.

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

I missed it too this year.
Oh, well, there's always the fall clearance sale.
Janet

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Well that makes 4 or us that missed it. Glad everyone is ok.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I missed it too. We were busy boarding up for Emily. I think we're going to get sandbags this afternoon.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

oh no!!! you need sand bags???

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Donna, we are 15 ft above sea level, so yeah, it's time to drag out the sand bags, lol. It could be worse, down the road they are below sea level. They've opened the floodgates on the resacas to send the water back into the laguna madre.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Good luck Susie.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh gosh Susie, I will sure send some positive vibes your way. I hope you come through it okay. Hugs!!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Susie does the city provide the sand bags for you??? They do here. You just have to go get them. They have the prison inmates fill them and help you load them up.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

We have to fill our own, but they provide the sand and the bags. Each person could fill six. One city was limiting it to two per person! We have enough for our front door, that's all we were worried about.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So do they really work? Gosh you guys really suffer. I am so hoping it passes you by Susie.

I just saw your post Barb. We get earthquakes but none bad in many years. Knock on wood. Other than that we have been OK! I think where Dick is might get the bad fires. I am in Northern Califonria right by San Francisco.
