Mine always did. It would be easier to tell if you take a picture of it hanging down normally! Some I have seen get so dark, so pretty! Mine never does, sadly!

Look at this one. It is to die for.

Mine always opened white and never got beyond an average pink. I love the dark ones.

Hi Marilyn, Mine does and I will provide a couple of pictures. I see Kell put up a link to a recent post I did. Thanks for the publicity Kell...LOL I forgot or am having some problems resizing hope this will work better.

Kin, what beautiful flowers and the leaves are such a deep green. How long have you been using the fertilizer from Al's?

Marilyn, I hope you wake up in the morning and find a pink bloom!!!!! Please post a picture so we can see how much it has changed in color.

Emily & for those who are interested. I finally found a fertilizer close to what Monika recomends. It's sold by a large Nursery here in the Willamette Valley. It's their own brand and it's 20-9-20. I have been using it for a little over 3 weeks now.
I must add that I do a lot of foliar feedings of comfrey tea (comfrey leaves that have broken down into a sludge liquid) and a liquid fertilizer. This is part of the reason why the leaves look so well.

Marilyn- I hope you don't mind me adding this info. to your thread.

Great! Pinkdom has arrived. I can't even get my EP to bloom for me this year and she is big. Yours is so cute with all those blooms.

Kin, your garden is so great. I would love to walk thru it.

Beautiful Kin!!! I have two loaded in buds but their foliage isn't nearly as green as yours - what are you using on yours??

Wow! I didn't realize that the EP opened up white, mine hasn't bloomed, don't remember if it has a y or not. But , so glad to know this. That's pretty neat that they change like that over a few days.
