Hello from SC

Hi, I joined Dave's garden in May 2005 and thought I would introduce myself to everyone. I just found the Welcome Mat forum today. I've done some seed trading and some SABSE with some members and I'm very appreciative of everyone who sent me seeds. Members have been especially generous to me and I sure do appreciate it. I work at a technical college in Manning SC and we completed a new greenhouse on campus and I am so excited to have access to it. This is my second year of REALLY being a gardener and I'm finding it highly addictive. This site is so helpful and informative and a very big APPLAUSE goes to the folks who run it.

hi jjay! I haven't been a member that long either, but I love it here also. Lucky you to have access to that greenhouse, great opportunity.
I am Rachel from NC. I just started gardening this year, wouldn't call myself a gardener yet. So far I'm more of a plant and pray kinda gal:) My sister and I have an orphanage in Kenya and I went back to work last year to keep that going. I am also slowwwwly renovating an old house that is, frankly, killing me. HGTV sure does make hard things look easy! My flowers have given me hope that this place really can look nice after all.
I look forward to seeing you around DG. We have a round up in September around Boone, NC. I don't know how close you are, but it will be a fun time.
