I'm amazed at how many blooms a plant under 2 feet can put out! The fragrance is simply amazing.
CG Blooms!
Impressive. Yellows are so cheerful!
My mom had a phrase, OK, I'm dating myself now, "hot-sie tot-sie!"
Looks great!!
LOL. It is 360 degree of bruglicious!
Looks great Emily. I hope it will shoot up some great basal shoots so you can get a cutting that will make a taller brug for you. This would really look awesome as a tree form.
Beautiful!!
oH its so lovely love it.. good pictures..
Yay!! Congratulations!
Gosh, Em', that's grand!!! If my CG is half that beautiful, I'll be thrilled. I'll tell you this, if you don't already know, CG is a rooting fool, every log and cutting I did, rooted just about as quick as I could get the dirt on it...
Gee, that is pretty and so cheerful. I'll have to pick one of them up for my friend. She's loves yellow. She has two cars and a pick up that are all painted yellow. She'd probably like CG. Hope they're hardy. She gets a few nights of light frost where she lives, and she won't baby things as much as I will.

WOW! What an impressive display! My CG is just starting to set blossoms, I hope that my display is as fantastic as yours!
Lindsey :)
Chuckie G was my first brug and it remains my favorite. It is in a pot right by the front door and the scent can be overpowering. I keep it cut back to about 6 feet, I am not sure how big it would get if I let it grow. Sure needs the fert. though, no food and it sulks.
That's a great shot of your sister enjoying a Brug in the Face..... CG has always been an excellent one for putting out a load of blooms and fragrance!
Emily, are you by chance going to the Salem Art Fair this weekend?

My sister had never seen a brug bloom before so it was a real treat for her to see to many at once. No art fair for me this weekend as I've already made plans. Weather should be very nice for it though. Did you make it down to the Country Fair last weekend?
What a great pic! LOL
You're doing such a great job, they're beautiful. Hard to imagine people not knowing about these lovelies. Wonderful picture of your sister.
My Mom lives with me. She is very ill so stays in bed most of the time, 22-23 hours a day. When I get a pretty bruggis flower I get her out for just a few minutes. Every time is like the first time !! She is so thrilled with their colors.
Margo, what a wonderful daughter you must be. I'll bet your mom appreciates every flower you share with her and every minute of every day that she is there with you. How nice that your brugs can help make special memories for you. I pray that things will get better for your mom.
That's beautiful Emily. Those older brugs still catch my eye. How do you keep it so short. I just love the looks of it. Mine is in tree form, but I like yours so much better .

One I don't have but the fragrance report means I'll be in the hunt for next year. That's a really nice flush. I'd like to see your sister do that with one of the oriental or asiatic lilies! Her face would be stained yellow for days. :)
thanks
LOL! Speaking of pollen from asiatic lillies, a while back my fiance was having a terrible time with his allergies so I was going around testing various plants. One on my first asiatics was blooming so I planted my face in it for a few minutes...
8ftbed, this one is loaded down with fragrance, one reason I keep it around. This and the tequila sunrise, smell up my greenhouse something wonderful LOL
kathy
kathy, does Tropical Sunset smell good too?? I surely hope so. This fall, if you have a little ole piece of Tequial Sunrise, I'd give you a pretty penny, and postage for it. I'm trying to collect only those that will do well in my zone in southeast Arky and that smell like heaven. Thanks!!
yep, i'll have some.
kathy
Thats beautiful!!!
Oh how pretty Emily! I adore yellow's as well as oranges! Your sister is so cute, thanks for sharing the pics with us :-)
Hugs
Julie
