Today I was surprised with a membership to Dave's Garden from my sister SandyC, thanks sisto :) . I love to collect Hoya's as well. For me it is the love of the hunt, as I live in the forbidden state of Arizona. Most of my plants have been smuggled in. Thanks Carol & Sandy ;). I look forward to getting to know all of you, and learning all I can about Hoya's.
Thanks Tammy

Welcome, Tammy!
Glad to see the group growing, too!
The challenge of finding those plants does add to their value, doesn't it?
Looking forward to getting to know you, too.
Good luck in your future 'hunts'!! (lol!)
HI Tammy and welcome ...I was curious on why Arizona is the "forbidden state" and why did your plants have to be smuggled in?...have fun catching up on all the great posts!....
Sandy
Hi Tammy, Welcome, I just joined recently too, and I am loving this forum, so much wonderful information.
I am also curious about the "forbidden state". I know states have restrictions, but thought California, and Hawaii had the stiffest laws besides plants coming in from outside the U.S.
Debbie
Welcome Tammy, glad to see you joining us.
Hi Tammy, you have a kind sis. Smart too.

Thank you all for the nice welcome. Arizona although not as bad as California has many restrictions for plants. I can't even mail order morning glories into here. I often have many items sent to my sister, and she either mails it to me or delivers them in person. She also scouts around in Washington or Idaho and sends me some real beauties. I have only found a Hindu rope, carnosa, and bella here in Arizona. Oh yes there was a beauty of Kentiana at Target that my other sister about knocked me over to get. Exotic angel does not stock plants in Arizona. So they say, once in awhile I will find one. It could be we have zero humidity here, except during the monsoon.

Hey Tami...welcome!!! Glad we have you and your sister...great contributions!!!
Hugs, Carol
