What kind of brug is that, Kell? I love the tendrils.

This may be my best cross so far Emily. The first flush she was so dark, much darker than now. I love how each day she changes her color. She gets darker and darker. Also she gets more recurve each day that goes by. So she will have lots of colors on the tree at the same time. A most entertaining brug.

If you ever need to trim her, I'd love a cutting.

I have NEVER seen so much diversity in a Brug Bloom. I LOVE IT! Looks like you have another stellar Brug on your hands Kell!!!!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

It's gorgeous! It definitely is neat the way it changes color.

Now thats a pretty slick trick. Variegated blooms. That would be a candidate for Monrovia submission if that bloom retained the variegation like in the first bloom and the pink just got darker but kept the white.

But Kell... I'm pretty sure I've read that variegation is actually caused by a virus so you should probably rip that out and send it to me for disposal. It should be far away from your collection so you don't have an epidemic or something.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Wow !! that is cool looking Kell. I love all the different shades on
one plants.

That's so beautiful, Kell. when I grow up in Brug-dom I want to be just like you and 8ftbed and all the other awesome Brug experts on here. I sit and read for hours on end what you are all doing. God bless and keep up the great work. Thanks for including us.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Love it, Kell. I've never seen anything like that. How long does it stay multi-colored?

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

This one is too cool also ... great photos Kell.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Reminds me of Matisse ... I love it!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks!!! I love it too.

Linda, it stays for almost a day. The darker areas keep growing till the entire flower has changed color. It seems to take much longer than the few others I have seen do this. This one did it last flush too. I have only seen a few do it and then not consistantly on 1 brug. This brug seems to do it with each flower so far. It really adds to the interest of it.

Hi Jackie!! Good to see you here.

Another today that just started to change here.

Just lovely, needs a name to ID it like Marbled Pink. Or something much fancier. If you ever give out cuttings, keep me in mind.
