I have this hoya that I was told is Pubicalyx Reva. Anyone have any idea if this is what I have? Whatever it is, I love the coloring on the leaves.
Blessings,

Hoya Pubicalyx Reva???
I am not sure what it might be, but, it sure is pretty Awanda!
I have H. pubicalyx Reva too. Hasn't bloomed yet but it's big enough to. Who knows? The hoya snobbery in me is about to surface. I have a plant purchased as H. carnosa Snowball which I thought was supposed to produce a solid white and globular bloom. The leaves are larger than any I have ever seen on a carnosa. Well, it has buds and so far they look like it's going to be the standard carnosa type pink flower. I'm disappointed....
That is purrrrrrrty!

Hey, nightbloomer, did you buy your 'snowball' from Bob Smoley? If so, I think what you have actually may be a motoskei, I bought one from him and I'm pretty sure thats what mine is. Mine does have a nice large carnosa type flower, allmost white with a reddish center and a typical carnosa scent. Aren't they nice leaves? They are one of my favorites.

markroy68, how did you guess? Ha ha. I will have to post a photo of my leaves and the bloom when it opens. I'm still ticked off about it. Maybe it will grow on me.
Susan/Markroy - H. motoskei is the original H. carnosa. The history is too darn complicated for me to remember it (too many dates, too many names)...to me it is 'pure'. My blooms are white and my large plant blooms all summer. They start out really really slowly (like fingernails growing) and then suddenly they take off. I love mine and will keep it forever!!!

Carol, I love it too, those leaves are spectacular, especially in bright light when the silver splotches takes on a pink metalic tone. My cuttings actually start growing really quickly, maybe they like my cooler environment?
Susan, it WILL grow on you.
Hey, Awanda...nice leaf!!! Does it grow quickly...or kinda slow?
Nightbloomer, I also bought what was suppose to be carnosa snowball and mine
was a plain old carnosa. I sure was disappointed.
