I love this hoya, but it didn't come with a lable. Could someone please help me.
I Need An ID
jdee, looks like you have an Exotic Angel basket of H. carnosa (the solid green) and H. carnosa var. Picta (the variegated leaf). This is a very easy bloomer. For some reason the H. carnosa var. Picta part blooms easier for me than the solid green. The flower color is the same on both though.
Thank you so much. When we bought it, we had to unwind a stem that had started climbing the basket beside it, so I'm thinking that since I have so many hanging plants, I might try to pot it with a trellis.
Also, I was wondering if my H. kerrii is a slow grower. I bought a pot the next size up, but if it likes to be pot bound, maybe I should wait. It's in a 8 inch, and it was trained to climb, and I bought the 10 inch pot, but I got it from Walmart, so I can take it back and exchange it for the 8 inch pot if I need to.
I just wanted to show all of you the newest hoyas of the bunch. I ordered these from ebay, and just got them today. If someone could please help me with the identities, I'd be most grateful. The first one is H. carnosa tricolor. The newgrowth is supposed to be a purple color. I thought it would be a nice burst of color during the non blooming time. It appears to have a stem of albino leaves that need to be removed, but other than that, it's in great shape.
The second one may be obovata, hopefully someone else chimes in, I might be wrong.

Yes, the last one looks like obovata to me too. (cute liitle kitty face in the corner) :-)

The lable says "obavata" on it. Thanks all.
