Welcome, Judy!
Funny, isn't it, how those 'collections' kinda 'sneak up on you'!
I've had the same thing happen with other plants. Thinking I have a couple...decide to count and turns out there's several!
Christine, can you point me to the message about the hoya exchange?....that would be so much fun....Judy
Here you go - just point and click - http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/527509/
Thanks for the link but i better not do this one..Ive got small plants and to take anything off them would really stunt them...maybe later on when I can get more plants I can get in one later...Judy
Hey Judy, good to see you joining us. We have done some trading in the past.

Deb, I was just in Las Vegas a few weeks ago..it would have been nice to meet a DG member...We flew from Michigan to Las Vegas to travel to Arizona....found some really nice succulents in Tuscan and Flagstaff..sent myself some boxes from there..the only thing is I was looking for hoyas and do you think anybody had them?...nope..most of the nurseries said they got bugs too easily...Judy
Hi ya Judy. Nice to have ya on DG.

Judy,
It's to bad that we missed each other, It would have been fun meeting you. As far as Hoyas found here locially, it's rare. Once in a great while at Lowe's or Home Depot you will find a carnosa or some of the varigated carnosa types, but that's it. I have asked a couple of the local nurseries if they would ask their wholesalers for Hoyas, but making the request hasn't accomplished anything. I find that ordering Hoyas directly from the sellers is the best way to obtain what you want. I have a wish list I work from, and order them when ever I can afford them. This way I it can be my choice. My "wish list" never really gets shorter, as I am always adding new "wants" to the list. It is so much fun.
When's your next trip to Las Vegas?
Deb
