We're Watching you! (are you watching us?)

Utica, MI(Zone 6b)

I started to clean the outside of the glass, and they were doing some serious watching and posturing...that is what is so good about cichlids......The angels were going to be flushed, and I figured they could serve as dinner for our fish.....that was about a year ago......and they have doubled in size! maybe even almost tripled....We started out with a 30 gallon and the yellow fish with horizontal black stripes in the first picture(hes racing by on the bottom). he started out with a jack dempsey, a blue vertical black striped cichlid(unknown exact name),and a black w/bright yellow tail and fins....They were about the size of the feeder roseys they sell...you almost couldnt see them in the tank due to the plants and whatnot......now they tear up the tank as fast as you clean it!! little buggers.....they are very interesting to watch...we love to get feeders and watch them hunt...(sorry if that upsets anyone). The dh and i just started hunting bow together last year too.....but different subject....back to the fish...here is the first pic..
