Mystery 16" bloom

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

I can't find the tag for this mystery beauty so I thought I'd post a couple pics here. The bloom just opened today and is 16" long. The leaves are slightly fuzzy. I do have peach versicolor and also equador pink. I'm so excited!!! I bought this as a gallon-sized plant on ebay with no Y's yet. I feel like a proud mama to have been able to get this plant to bloom for me. The weather is supposed to stay in the 70's this week so not sure how much it will darken into its final color.

Some of my brugs, such as Jamaincan Yellow and about 24" tall, but no Y's yet.

The pic below has a bunch of these short little stubby blooms. Anyone ever seen this before. I have no idea which named variety it is. Any ideas?

The mystery bloom now has a slight pink tint to it. I noticed a fragrance, but it's very light, especially compared to Charles Grimaldi.

It looks like a versicolor to me Emily. But I couldn't tell you which one, I am not very familar with them.

You sure have a few brugs going there. Bloom city for sure by the end of summer!

My guess so far is Frosty Pink. What do you think?

It looks more like a versi to me Emily. Frosty is a suav type. Yours is pendant not nodding. And your skirt is not flared like Frosty. I wish I could help you!

I looked up versicolor and the "salmon versicolor" listed on another site looks exactly like my plant. You're right on! I forgot versicolor also comes in pink colors too. That would explain why the blooms are so large. There's another bud on the other side of the plant that is just about to open. What's funny is that I don't remember buying a salmon versicolor. It's a nice surprise :)

Emily, What a nice surprise indeed! Like Kell said it's a Versi. It may start darkening up pink in the next day. My EP is very light in color to begin with then darkens quickly the next day or two.
My EP should be opening up a few blooms in the next day or two. I really love her!!! As Carol once said her friend said the blooms reminded him of old ladies bloomers. LOL
Here is a pic. taken tonight.

Oh! Look at those! I've seen pictures of EP blooms and just love them. I can't wait to see more pics of those. I love the crocosmia in the background!

Emily, I forgot to mention this earlier. It just seems to slip my mind. Al's Nursery has their own fertilizer that is 20-9-20 in a 3lb. jar for $5.99. I am currently using it. It only requires 1 tsp. per gallon of water. I have only been using it for 3 weeks now but it seems to be working nicely.
I will post a pic. when they open up for ya. I also love the crocosmia so do the hummers. Here is one I submit into the PlantFiles.

Have a great week.
