Is my parsley still safe to use?

I started to notice some fungus growing beside my parsley plant. I was hesitant about keeping the plant or discarding it. I don't like the idea of having to get rid of a plant, but i just want to be cautious. Could anyone let me know what might be the best option? Thanks ya'll.........................

Since no one has chimed in, If this was my plant I would pluck the mushroom and go about my business. Since it has been a few days the mushroom is proably on its way out anyway - yes? I wouldn't worry about it. Use your parsley.
