Floresville, TX(Zone 9a)

These only last until around 11am in the heat here sadly, but they are interesting.

Is this species hard to grow? How long did you have it before it would bloom for you? I am considering getting one.

I got mine in a trade last fall. I kept it inside over the winter in the window and put it out this March. It's still in a 10 inch pot, so it doesn't need a lot or root space apparently. Definitely not hard to grow, it got some osmocote pellets a month or so ago and gets watered daily, also gets a lot of afternoon sun.

I'm going to attempt to root some cuttings later this month, but I don't have any to offer right now. I know gkexoticplants.com has them sometimes though.

There was one on ebay. I didn't get it . I did win a P. pallens, however. The vendor sent the wrong pf and insisted it was pallens. I do know a caerulea when I see one, however. I sent a picture of pallens leaves and what she sent me. She said she would correct the order.
We'll see.
