I'm in eastern Maryland, missing California, and recently discovered these plants will overwinter in this area. Am trying to find about 6 gallon-sized plants to add to my garden. HELP!

Searching for Agapanthus "Peter Pan" plants
Just found six plants at Bhenke's in Beltsville, MD. Not "Peter Pan", but another miniature. I'm thrilled!!! Sheri
Good luck with them! I can understand your missing them, they certainly are everywhere here in CA. They are just starting to bloom now, so here's a pix to remind you of how pretty they are in the garden. I have a dwarf variety too, and it was interesting that it took two years for the white to bloom, although they looked healthy enough. The blues bloomed right on schedule, first year and ever since.
I just got a 1-gallon 'Peter Pan' agapanthus at Target last week. But agapanthus plants are very common here in CA; I'm not sure if they're as easy to find in MD. (When we were kids we called them "bank flowers" because almost every bank had a planting of them.)
DG PlantFiles has this agapanthus (listed under the name "Dwarf Blue Lily of the Nile 'Peter Pan Blue.' ") On that page four vendors are listed who offer this plant. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/56163/
I was surprised to find 'Peter Pan' agapanthus at a Walmart SuperCenter here in southeast Missouri this year. I bought one, of course, and it has sent up 3 bloom stalks already (from a one gallon pot). So check out Walmart if you have some there.
Don't know if mine will overwinter very well here, but I'm gonna try putting on a lot of mulch and see what happens.
