I have a couple of gourds growing that I started from seeds. I've kept the identification markers but I'm wondering about what I'm showing is my Swan Gourd. Do Swan Gourds start out with curved necks or do they curve as they grow? I have a number of baby gourds but they look like Birdhouse gourds (something I grew 4 yrs ago but not ones I started this year).
Anyway, if anyone knows when the Swan gourds start their "neck" curving, I'd appreciate knowing.
Thanks!!

Swan Gourd Question
If you growing them on the ground, they curve early. They will straighten on a trellis due to their weight. If they have any size and they look like birhouse gourds, they may not be swans (a type of calabash) The handles should be longer and slimmer.
