hi everyone! i'm new to DG. this is good hot or cold, for chatfood, snacking in the garden when you are starving but don't want to stop yet. or--do up a rare london broil, green salad, and a loaf of this. mmmm. a change from garlic bread.
gorgonzola bread
split lengthwise a loaf of sourdough bread
combine in a bowl and smear on both halves of the bread;
3 oz blue cheese or gorgonzola
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 pound (stick) of real sweetcream butter
fresh cracked black pepper (to taste)
broil until bubbly
slice and snarf.
