strawberry and marshmellow no cook pie

my aunt made this for me and my dw when we visited her recently.

make, bake and cool according to package instructions one 8 or 9 inch grahm cracker crust

10 ounces frozen strawberries in syrup thawed. (do not use fresh strawberries)
30 marshmellows (she said not to use jet puffed)
1 up sour cream
3 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt

in a large bowl whip cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla and saltuntil smooth.

in a medium pot combine strawberries and marshmallows and cook over medium heat until marshmallows melt. pour into bowl with cream cheese mixture and mix well. pour into crust and refridgerate 4 hours or more.

when serving add 1 spoonful of store bought whipped cream to each piece as you slice it. i've found that if you cover the pie with the cream it will get mushy if left over.
