Evidently we are experiencing a backlog of Priority Mail within the post office. Our best guess is the employees took vacation days before and after the 4th. Boxes that should have been delivered at the end of last week have not been received by my PO as of today.

I seem to be getting everything on time. It's the first class and junk mail that's screwed up here.

I sent a priority envelope last week that hasnt been received yet.
I got one today from Cross Junction, VA and one on Friday from California both as expected. No others are due until tomorrow or Friday.

A box was shipped to me on Saturday and it arrived at 7:00 last night. Got a sub doing 2 routes while my mailman is out of town.
My regular mailman arrives here between 5-6pm when he's here and he only does his one route.
I'm trying to figure out that difference in time consumption.

MollyMac from where was it shipped? Maybe it's just the Mid-South region. My PO Manager says after a holiday they are normally loaded up with boxes but have only had 2 and had just been talking about it before we got there. Only thing they could figure was vacations
I am so glad someone else noticed this! I thought my nurses syndrome of not knowing what day it was was really getting to me.

I still haven't gotten any boxes and I have 4 that were shipped to me the first part of last week, from different parts of the country!!!!
YIKES thats not good! Well I got email from someone that shipped me a box day before yesterday and paid online. Now it says it is cancelled and she hasnt received email back from the PO yet.
I wonder what all that means??

Sorry Judy, I forgot to put this on watch. The box I received on Tuesday was mailed the previous Saturday from Ohio.
I received one today that was mailed on Tuesday and the one I sent that day also arrived there today. That was in Florida, both ways.
Even those I get a late daily delivery, it seems everything is getting here as planned.
