Just incase you wondered why I have been so absent lately...I was away at the National Daylily meeting in Cinn. since a week ago. I went with Cal Sue and Lilystorm...made plans before time to meet up with Kim/owedbycats and spent the day with her visiting open gardens the day before the convention started.
Then on Sun. morning we meet badseed and her 6 beautiful girls and melissa OH...we had a wonderful time...it is so great meeting other gardening folks...it is like we have known each other forever...
Let me find a photo!
Here is: from left to right...in the back....Sue, Tracy/lilystorm, Melissa, Chele...and in the front me/picturelady...
Fun meeting up with other DG friends in Cinn. last week-end
Oh what a great time you must have had! You all look great and thank you for sharing your picture's with us Picturelady! I love to look at other DGer's and love to hear when they meet too :-)....
Ok Chele, did you have another young'un since I spoke to you last??? LOL,......they are simply A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!! Just like their moma :-)
ALL of you are just as I pictured you!
Hugs
Julie
oh how wonderful. Bet you all had a blast
Chele's children were just unbelievably nice and well behaved! Being a grandmother of 8 children between the ages of 2 and 9, I wondered what we were in for when I heard that Cheles 6 children would be joining us for breakfast! But, it was nothing like I thought! They were just beautiful in appearance and in behavior!
Sue and I spent the evening before in the ER with Tracy who had sudden back pain while we were at the convention banquet dinner. We didn't get back to our hotel and to sleep until 3:45am....we had a postpone our early morning meeting with Chele and Melissa...and met at 11am instead! So, if we look tired, that is why!
During the convention we also met up with about 6 other Tinkers Garden members...some that we knew from last years convention in St. Louis and others that we met for the first time this year! We had a blast!!!
This is a photo of our Tinkers group...

Oh, great pics! I love that shot of me and my Mom! Can you send me the full size please?
Kell, Tinkersgardens is a garden site like this one http://www.tinkersgardens.com/ with a very active daylily forum (other forums too but they are not as extensive or as active as here) plus a registered daylily database. But we do find ourselves here at DG much more often! :-)
oh and Margie's pic ( 3rd one up from here) above should be in order of appearance: Marty of Tinkersgardens and soon to be here, picturelady-Margie and lilystorm-Tracy.
