What an incredible flower!

Thanks! I almost didn't notice it, because the pot was facing the opposite direction, and I just happened to glance over one day and saw it blooming! I hadn't even known it had a flower bud on it. Of course I then had to go get the camera.... :-)

Beautiful shot! The center of my Carrion Flower is turning brown & dieing. Can anyone tell me if it is safe to cut out the rotten portion & divide the plant in two? If so, what is the best way to go about it? I've had mine for at least 16 years & it was a gift from my grandfather's plant. I hate the thought of losing it after all this time. Thanks in advance.

Hi, ekings.
Sorry, I just now saw your comment. If you haven't divided your plant yet, my instinct would be to say yes, as long as you have pieces that aren't rotten yet, they should fairly easily re-start as separate plants. Just my thoughts.
Be careful in the future of overwatering, and don't use soil that will stay too moist for too long.
Hope this helps.
Take care,
John
