This is a sun loving plant. Very drought tolerant. Should do well in Sacramento....

Hi joebloom,
I have many that look like this plant but they bloomed in deep pink and pale pink. I am unschooled in plant life and am trying to learn about the many I now have in my new home... this one is a beautiful plant and I have a half dozen over the property.
Is it possible mine are also crepe myrtle?

Brendalea60, sorry for the very late reply.... from your description of the plants on your property, I'm pretty sure they are crepe myrtle. This species comes in a variety of colors and sizes.
