question about Becca Lynn

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

I am wondering if everyone's Becca Lynn have leaves that stand up toward evening, kindof like praying hands? I have only 3 in my garden that seem to do this, and wondering why? I can't recall the names of the other 2 offhand, would have to look.

I am fairly certain the leaves on all my brugs close up like that at night unless they are just too darn big. It is fun to see how many other plants do as well. Mimosa and wisteria also do that. Those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

The 'praying' is a characteristic of brugmansia.... to protect their tender growing point.
