Bee stings are dangerous to your dog and if stung multiple times can even kill it, especially smashed faced dogs. Also emergency vet visits are big $$$.
Thought I would remind everyone. I just got an email from a friend who's Bully got stung twice and required emergency treatment, plus follow up by her regular vet the next day.

Dear Judy,
You have probably warned people a dozen times; but, I thought I'd mention, too. Watch your bullies around bees. We let our Winston out on the deck to play in his wading pool for just a short time -- maybe 15 minutes or so. We were all out and about working on the house. Anyway, he came bolting in when I opened the door. Didn't think much about it until about 3 or 4 hours later -- all of a sudden he couldn't open his mouth. Thick, egg- white looking stuff was coming out of his mouth instead of his normal (almost no droolies!). We hauled him to emergency -- about 6:15 p.m. 3 shots later -- including pain killer, cortisone(with I think an antihistimine???) and some antibiotics . . . Then -- "Go to your own vet tomorrow morning." Next morning, more shots. . . Looks like a bee bit him on the chin then he snapped at it (or another one??) and got bit inside the mouth.
He's fine and fit now; but, we sure had a scarey couple of days!!
