I am building a new bed in almosyt full shade next to the brook in back of me. The trees are reg maples. I may have to build raides beds as the ground is so thick with roots. Ideas for plants/shrubs please. Thanks

Can you take a pic of the area? There are lots of great plants that do well. Is there a particular look you're going after?
