Ice Cream Maker

I've decided I must have an ice cream maker--one you just add ingredients to and plug in or put in the freezer. Getting out the big freezer and loading the ice and salt is just too much hassle.

I have no idea what kind to get. Please share with me your experience with these appliances and what your recs are.
