We had friends that grew so many green beans they took them to the local cannery and had them canned, for years on ed. They were the best green beans I have ever had not counting those right out of the garden. They tasted nothing like the stuff we buy at the store. Tender and natural tasting. Why can't we buy such a can of green beans?
