I have propogated one too many cuttings. Oooops! I would like to trade this one. Carol so nicely sent me one and I start pinching on it, and they all rooted. This is a little guy but growing rapidly.

Kim, Am glad to see that it is still growing good.
Did any of the other coleus make it? Mine still are struggling but because it has been so cold and wet here in Oregon.
Carol

(Zone 7a)

All I know is it's a Kong...LOL

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

I mean do you grow Kong Mosiac or trade for some cuttings it if you don't?
That's an empty 6 in pot for leaf size comparison.

Jan, I'm confused..Also I haven't been understaning the English Language today very well!! Can barely type it or spell it today either...LOL LOL. Whatever you're trying to ask/tell me..I'm confused. But one thing I'm not confused about is...
I NEED that one in you pic!! So what does Kimmie have to do to get a piece????

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

Well, my typing isn't too great today either. This is my Kong Mosiac and I think there are some side shoots large enough to root, I'll send them with the curcuma and maybe you can see me a cutting of your kong when you send back the Monarda. Whew!

Seattle, WA(Zone 8a)

I work for the local conservatory & botanical garden (Phipps), and we have been trying to find Kong coleus for one of our upcoming flower shows. We have had a rotten time trying to get our hands on it! I finally found a few Kong Green at a local place, but it is a VERY elusive series it seems! And the green is the most boring one... If anyone has extras, I will try really hard to come up with a trade!

Carol, if you're still out there..Tell us about this Kong...LOL How big will it get, anything special we need to know?

Jan, I will send you one like the picture. I don't have cuttings. These are all rooted. When I got the Momma from Carol I made 4 new plants and shared the original piece with someone else. Talk about recycling huh? LOL

Amy, There is Large Kong Koleus at the Farmers market I go to every Friday. i think they're $4.00 much bigger then the one I'm offering. Different color too. Send me an email. we'll talk and I can pick one up for you..

Whew...I think that does it!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Kim.

Momma passed away and so did her little seedlings friends. Guess she just didn't like me.

Blessings,
Sandy

Hey Kim,
I sent you the tag for what I had gotten.
I just looked at my tag. It says coleus x hybridum, Kong mix, 18-22" high. It also says sun or shade but who knows.
Why? Is it getting huge? Mine is still only about 5" high.
Sent me a picture of the big guy then.
Carol

(Zone 7a)

OMG! Sandy! I'll find you more at the farmers market.

Carol, I shared some with Sandy, in fear that hers wouldn't make it. I took cuttings and split pieces of leaves. Then gave her the roots/leaves. Even my leaf cuttings rooted!...LOL.
It says coleus x hybridum, Kong mix, 18-22" high.Oohhh I'm excited!
Mine are outside and they are taking the sun. One was growing so fast I had to change his pot and soil yesterday. He's mine!

Well I'm off to the Farmers market..I'll be back with pictures of what I've found...he he he.

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

My Lowes had a bunch when I was there but I didn't check the prices.
Probably 3-4 different colors

(Zone 7a)

Carol, Here's one that rooted from a leaf. I just took him out a 2 inch pot and put it in a 9 inch pot.

Kim, I have a trailing Lava Rose, or a Kong Mosiac I would gladly trade for. Yours looks like Rose Kong to me, and I really want one of those.
How far are you from Pittsburgh??

Well ladies...I didn't see 1 coleus at the farmers market. Actually it was pretty pitiful today. They didn't have much of anything.

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh no Kim.... I found 3, but only bought one, and the other 2 were huge, and the vendor pinched me off a piece of one of them (she had them in large pots, with other plants, for very high prices) I didn't want to push my luck and ask for a piece of both LOL
I'm going back this week I think.

Janis

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)
