Help Me Sort My Narcissus

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I have a lot of paperwhites and tazetta narcissus (Avalanche?) that reproduce like crazy and need to be dug up from time to time. I can never remember which was which by the time the foliage dies down, but now I have two sets of different-looking bulbs. Which is which? (There's a chance that there could be a couple double narcissus in the group.)

The first set has fairly thin skins that are satiny like a yellow onion.

The second set has thicker skins that are not satiny and do not peel off as easily as the first set. The bulbs in both sets are the same size.

I would recommend that you plant each group in a separate pot this year, and watch them bloom in the spring. It is very difficult to identify a daffodil by its bulb alone.

First picture is the Paperwhite....Second one is the Tazetta.
