A dear friend from Louisiana sent me this beauty...have been watching the huge Amaryllis like leaves forming (It's from the Amaryllis Family) and then a stalk and now a bloom!!..Hope you enjoy..Jeanne

I have this for the first time this year. Jeanne, do the strappy leaves begin to kind of turn yellow and look like they are going to die before they bloom or is my plant sick?m They have been doing really well till yesterday.
