Full moon maple is more like a sunny day!

Here's a pic of my full moon maple (Acer shirasawanum 'Aureum') I took early this morning. The rising sun set the leaves aglow..far brighter than any 'Full' moon.

It's a slow grower here. I got it in 2000. It was only 18" high, but at only $20 I thought it a steal. It's now about 3 feet.
