I have found that our hoyas do what they want, when they want:-) They don't follow the "Hoya Rule" book. Case in point is this Hoya Macrophylla cutting I received from David Liddle in April. It is now blooming and has two more flowa buds.

So much for the pot bound theory:-)
Fantastic!!! That little hoya really wants to survive!!

Only you could pull that off Awanda. I have plants that have been rootbound for two years and sprayed till dripping in Messenger, and no buds.
You grow girl!
Gorgeous, what did you use to root it in. What mix?

Aw thanks everyone! Heather I rooted it in perlite and vermiculate on a heat mat.

Way to go!!!

You definately have two green thumbs Awanda. My guess is that it could depend on the particular hoya. I once received my cutting of H. thompsonii so I made two cuttings to root. They rooted and one of the cuttings immediately made a flower peduncle.

I think Awanda has a little rebel there! Rules, schmules!
