It sure is a pale pink. Where is Sylvia? She loves these pale pink ones. LOL! Wish I knew what it was. I hope someone will come along and help you.

Maybe if you show a side picture it would help. I know a few people had gotten this one, including me, and sadly it wasn't really Rafaella in the end.

Well, here's my rafaella, it's listed as tropical sunse t though, I got the name tags wrong, but it's really rafaella, and take alook at the first rafaella bloom in the next post, the really light bloom was out in l00% sunshine and leaves turning yellow and not doing good, it doesn't like the sun, but the next picture, was the first flower to bloom on her and quite a beautiful flower too.

and here is the same plant with the very first bloom in shade, quite a difference isn't it. second pic does look just like yours. I do think you have a rafaella there, the rest of my blooms on this particular flush look just like yours , maybe the next flush will be bright again like this picture is.

okk . then i think it is too! the flowers are really big are yours?.....it did get darker this after noon but the sun is beating down on them so they are'nt opened up.....ill try to post another picture when they open back up.thanks

Yeah, the flowers are big, I went to the greenhouse tonight, to check on mine and the flowers are darker now that the sun is down, but still not as dark as the very first one that opened. Not really all that fragrant either. unlike the mountain treasure that was posted before the rafaella, that one will knock your socks off with it's wonderful fragrance.

kathy_ann, I posted this on another thread - this is my Rafaela, sp, and I have no clue which spelling is correct...yours is very pretty - this photo was right after she opened, she has 6 tendrils on all her blossoms...

LCL36, this is a Rafaela blossom that just bloomed within the last hour. Not a good photo, and, of course, it's not been in the sun yet, but I think it looks like yours. Does yours have 6 tendrils?? Also, mine gets hot morning sun, but not for long. I think just about all of mine do better in the shade...

This is my Rafaella which I received from a grower in Europe prior to the new shipping restrictions.

kathy_ann, I forgot to mention that my Rafaela has a clean, citrus smell, a lilting, cheerful smell, but certainly not as strong as some...

Nice pictures, amazing how we can get diff blooms on the same plant, Or I can anyways, I say it doesn't have a scent, but it does have a some what of a scent, but like you said sherry, not as strong as some. I just love walking out to the greenhouse and smelling in that wonderful fragrance of brugs in bloom. it's heavenly. I think my first bloom had those tendrils too, they really stuck out too, but my other pics their not as pronounced you might say,
