Orange Sherbert

Brookhaven, PA(Zone 6b)

Hi!

Is there a picture of Orange Sherbert available anywhere?

I have many seedlings of several crosses from this. But still don't know what the mother plant looks like.

I hate to just toss them, I would really like to know what Orange Sherbert looks like.

I sure hope someone can help.

Good luck, Paul. I've never seen a picture of it.

I got this as a cutting from Susie. It's the two large orange blooms at the top.

Very pretty Gloria. Is that you winter digs there? I bet it smelled so pretty.

I do no think I have ever seen such a long calyx as on that Gloria. It reminds me of a fancy light over a kitchen table the way it just hangs down.

It's a big bloom, wish Susie would tell us if it is one she hybridized, and if she might have used it to get such a big bloom as Susanne?
It smells fantastic, as I remember. The plant is very large, maybe 10' tall, lots of ys'.

That was last October thru January in the basement Kristi. Wish it was that time again, as it is so hot and dry here right now.

You still don't have rain Gloria? I'm so sorry. ((hugs))) My rain dance isn't working? Time to pull out the big guns and improve the dance LOL.....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great color on that one.

Oh Doris is suffering too! What a shame. I can't think of anything worst than it being very hot and also dry! I will say a prayer for you guys too!

Thanks. A rain dance under the light of the moon might work also, have heard that................'course can't wear any RED bathing suits Kell!

Thanks Gloria, I just was wondering if the seedling of a cross from it was worth growing out, I have so many this year!

Looks like it could be a keeper. It is crossed with Rosabelle, then with something else, can't remember right now.

Got the seeds from someone.
