Peaches & Cream from 8ftbed

(Linda) Winfield, KS(Zone 6a)

This is the picture of my P & C that 8ftbed was so kind to send me. She went through some bad times with the hail storm we had, had to almost remove all her leaves from damage. But she is coming around and growing. Look at all her new leaves on the stalk, and I try to keep the ones closest to the ground pinched off, I pinch one off and she comes back with two. I think she is trying to show me who is boss.

Thanks again 8ftbed.

Nice!!! I am looking forward to blooms on mine, too!

I try to keep all my brugs happy by giving them playmates to play with. I go to garage sales and by cheap figurines and put them in my flower beds. I think P & C likes her two little playmates. I like to keep them happy so maybe they will reward me with blooms.

Carol yours are so big I have seen pictures of your brugs, especially your maya she is huge.

Linda, she is beautiful and so healthy - your garden is lovely!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I like the playmates you have for your brugs and the mulch around everything. I sure looks nice.

Awwwww, cute Ted E. Bears! :-)
Plants look good too

Linda, your Brugs look great and I love the little playmates.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Your Brugs look nice and healthy and those bears are adorable.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

awwww man, she turned into another little fat-n-sassy just like her mom. The vegetative stage is too cool. Linda she's looking very happy there and the girls on the side better hurry because PC will have a big beautiful variegated skirt if you let her. I didn't strip mine till she Y'd. If only she had a better fragrance. Mine only has a light citrusy smell (like some others that won't be back next year) and you just about have to park your nose to check it out.

Here's a wet dream!! PC's vigor and foliage with Harlot's flowers and fragrance. Sheesh, I guess I can go back outside for one more sniff

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

That brug looks so healthy and so pretty. And here I thought P& C was a slow grower.

Speaking of Harlot, I would love to see pictures, Blaine. If you do not mind. I lost my Harlot before I got to see her bloom.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

sure... I'll put a pic or two up tonight. Until Butterfly blooms again, Harlot has the best fragrance of anything thats bloomed for me so far.

Do you want a replacement?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Lets see your pictures first. LOL!!! THANKS BLAINE!!

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Ok, here she was on the 19th with various stages of skirt in the wind.

This is this afternoon. I think this is a 2nd day. 3rd day is darker.
Still smells like koolaid and babypowder to me. I cannot imagine one with the size and number of blooms that you get to grow.

Do all her blossoms have 6 tendrils?? She is very beautiful and healthy, I LOVE her color!!! Mine is in a pot and, fearing she would rot, I let her dry out, but she's coming back. Each of my Rafaela blossoms have 6 tendrils too, I wonder if they will all be like that...

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Wow... you're Good!!
I just ran back outside and the other 5 blooms that are open have 5. Guess I inadvertently picked an atypical bloom for this afternoon's shot. She's darker now too.
oh - they stink good !!

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

She's pretty!

Blaine, Harlot is a stunning flower and simply breath taking. If I knew where you lived, I am afraid I would be charged with grand theft-so if Harlot is missing send the police straight to my house-would gladly do the time to own her. LOL A very impressive brug.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Well, thanks, we gotta keep you on your toes, Blaine! I couldn't see the number of tendrils on the 1st photo, and because of the intense color on the 2nd/3rd photos, I studied her carefully. She is very beautiful and 'stinking' good is another plus for me...

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Thanks... I was happy with her myself (thanks again Brugie... wherever you are).

So Bward .... I hear hardtime in MS really sucks. Since I may be removing an appendage anyway, maybe you oughta shoot me an addy. I figure there'll be enough for 2. :)

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh My.. That is one beautiful Brug! Love the color!! So if you ever have any wind damage.... limbs fallen off...ya know... ok... behaving... lol

Take a peek at P&C check out how much she has grown. She has really taken off. She has Y'ed and is starting to put on buds. Just hope the winter doesn't get her before she blooms.

She also has two suckers growing. I am letting them grow a little more then I will snip them and root and pot, then I will offer them to anyone who wants them.. When they are ready to go I will post and I will do the same to whom ever gets them that was done for me. I will ship free and they will be potted. I just hope I will be able to root and get them ready to ship. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Yeeee Haw! If you've got buds now I'd almost bet you get 2 flushes at least out of her. The one in ground is budding up again for another monster flush. Keep us posted and congratulations!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Congrats, Linda!!! I'd love to have one, but I'm told they do not like it here. But, I'm surely enjoying yours and I have all digits crossed!!!!!

Would love one whenever !!
Beautiful just beautiful :))
