Gee Guys, thanks a lot. It is a big day...65! I start on Medicare!
So...Here are my plans... Going on the long walk with the dogs and take pictures of any newly blooming brugs!!! Then I am going to the beach before the kids get there...commune with the fishes and grok the negative ions, stop at the store, then come home to pack my shipments...the largest shipment to date! Not something I relish doing on my b'day but I can change it into something positive!

Well, today started out with such warmth and love, with all the great greetings from DGers...a walk on the road and YES, 2pd, a surprise in blooms!!! Then I drove to the beach, in the rain, and swam in the rain and had a beautiful time! It was high tide and the huge sea turtles were munching on the seaweed growing on the rocks just feet away. Something about beaches and that vast Madre Ocean that rejuvenates me! Some minor shopping for my Birthday Dinner (fresh Scallops on spinach leaves with grated Pecorino and lots of garlic) and a good bottle of Shiraz...Then home to tag, wrap and pack hoyas to ship. 14 boxes...4 hours the two of us took...largest shipment ever...Hot shower, dove into the wine...
I can't say I am thrilled about growing older...but it beats the alternative. There is so much yet to do in my life, friends to meet, plants to plant, scents to enjoy!... Sky Diving is out of the question but there is so much to do, learn, enjoy, thrill, pass on...the years are never going to get the best of me!!!
