wow never had them on my sunflowers before. I just loaned my best ID books to a friend. Will show this to MZ Munchie to see if she can ID them for you since she has the same books
There is a Sunflower moth (Homoeosoma electellum) that uses sunflowers as its host plant. That would be my guess
