A few pics from Echoes

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Had a wonderful visit with Brenda. I brought my camera but only took a few pictures. I was amazed at the size of their property and her babies that I kept forgetting to take pictures....lol. Her is a couple of pictures of her brug that she calls it names...lol. It's wonderful to smell another brug since mine are taking their sweet time.

Glad to see your CG finally came to life for you echoes. Very nice, too.

Your blue poppy still gives me a thrill Brenda! Ü You've also been a very good mommy to that Brug! Is it the one you were unhappy with?

I've enver seen 'brugs' before, but think I could get to like them a lot!

Thaks for the pics.

oh oh, Cyber.........just take a gander over at the Brug forum........you're gonna get hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!! Elaine

Something totally different. Unspectacular. Plain. Cotton dress. Not for the discriminating. But I love em. Ditch roses.

I think they're beautiful too.

That they are......there is something very special about seeing "hardies" blooming that manage to thrive in spite of our extreme condions. We are always slowing down to admire their beauty.

They seem to whisper their beauty, instead of shouting. I like shouters too of course! ;-) but there is definitely something charming about such a beautiful, unassuming flower that does just fine on its own, without any pampering.

yeppers :)

Do you all think that is Rosa arkansana? There are different ones from one side of the prairies to the other. This one showed more streaking than most that I've seen here. Someone show us some pics of your wild roses.

Very pretty, Brenda. I remember living on the farm and going out to pick the petals to eat.

To me, there is no perfume like it. Smell is the stongest sense for memory.
